What I’m working on
Most of my attention at the moment is on building out a product called Path, which aims to provide a framework for professional development. Besides that, my focus is on how scholarship is changing as a result of AI in higher and professional education.
I’m actively working on:
- Path: software for career progression by design: aim at a standard, gather evidence as you go, build the case for your next step. Publicly released, with a waiting list open.
- Vertex: a curriculum knowledge graph for natural-language querying, quality assurance, and compliance.
- The research harness: a structured operating context for working with AI agents in doctoral research, and increasingly in scholarship more broadly.
Writing:
- AI literacy for academics: a course across six dimensions, from basic competence through adaptation to transformation.
- A book on AI for doctoral researchers with Springer Nature, co-authored with Benita Olivier, and a chapter for a Springer reference volume on AI in medical education.
